Asparagus White Bean Gratin

Ingredients:
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 2 tsp. cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. lemon zest
- 1⁄4 tsp. salt
- 2 15- to 19-oz. cans cannellini beans (white kidney beans), rinsed and drained
- 3⁄4 cup finely shredded
- Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb. asparagus, trimmed
- 3 to 4 oz. thinly sliced prosciutto

Directions:
- Preheat broiler. In a broilerproof extra-large skillet stir together the half-and-half, garlic, lemon zest, and salt. Stir in beans and 1⁄2 cup of the cheese. Bring to boiling, reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, 3 to 5 minutes or until slightly thickened.
- Meanwhile, gather asparagus spears in bundles of 5 or 6 and wrap with prosciutto slices. Place bundles on top of bean mixture. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat 8 to 10 minutes or until browned and asparagus is tender
